Scenery has progressed to a point where we can start adding some structures to the the scenicked parts of the Layout, this page will showcase some of under contruction pics as they progress from the workbench to the layout.
Jim's enginehouse interior, looking very cool, Stan's swamp boat and luckily Brian had his camera for some quality pics

Stan and I are working on the Sawmill as a co-op project. He has the superstructure and I have the base, deck and machinery. Stan has completed the Lean-to roofs and will see them next Saturday and will get pics then.

Some pics that Brian took, enginehouse on the layout as well as cook/stores and showerhouse

Quick couple of update pics,Brian has been adding lights to Stan's scratchbuilt enginehouse

Stan built the log unloader for the mill pond, based on some pics we found in a logging book, will be a great scene when finished.

Jim has an Evergreen Wharehouse, that is perfect for the dock area, once crates and such are added, lighting should look great on the interior.

Stan knocked out a building to house the Dynamo and Cat I built last week, it's a scratchbuilt beauty of course, set back in the hillside, once it is lit will show off full interior, next up for Stan is the fuel tank on the hillside to feed the diesel hungry Cat.

Finished Old Passenger car Lineside Shed, our friend Brian, who is a zen master of Tiny Led's and cool lighting circuits is going to turn the welder into a living arcing thing. Detail parts took only a couple of evenings to paint, should be a nice scene once placed on layout, especially with the Welder Arc effect.

Stan has been working on a Warehouse/Stores for Wharf, it's a gem, with all the detail still to be added, pallets of flour, crates, fruit, you name it this will be great scene on the layout. Completely Scratchbuilt as usual for Stan.
We need power for the Wharf area, I knocked out a WSM Dynamo and Sierra West CAT Framebed this evening, handing it over to Stan in the morning as he will turn out a transmission to mate the two pieces, we will then knock out a little shed, fuel tanks and all the other stuff to make neat little scene.

Installed tank on Layout, Inspired by WSLC's Crumbine Oil Facility, found a photo and had to build it, probably under $10 for materials.

Updated Jan 22nd 2012,Oil Tank which will be buried up on the Hillside on the yard section
