Jan/Feb Progress Below
Updated Feb 28th,2012 everybody pitching in, a couple of pics of Stan's scratchbuilt enginehouse, stunning, Stan brought in the full interior framed enginehouse. It will now go to Brian who will light it, then go back to Stan to put on the corruugated roofing I etched, then back to Stan to finish doors, windows and such. Then I will most likely get it back to do the interior machines and clutter. It should be a great model once complete. Actually it already is pretty impressive.

Updated Feb 26th 2012, got quite a bit done yesterday on log unloading section, may be able to complete on Tuesday. More new pics on Overall pg and scenery closeup.

Updated Feb 22nd 2012, not much to update, most of us were gone last few days, quick couple of pics, will have some scenery updates on Saturday. Some new pics on Structure pg also.

Updated Feb 15th 2012, some quick pics of Stan's log unloader, scratchbuilt of course with a CHB Dolbeer as the hoist engine, more pics on the structue pg, will be gone for a few days, will post scenicked in pics then.

Updated Feb 12th 2012, our resident lighting, special effect zen master Brian took some high quality images of the layout today, look for a couple special pgs to showcase them in the next few days.

Updated Feb 10th 2012, Worked on some small stuff today, a diesal tank for generator building, worked a bit on track and such, will be workibg on helping Stan with Log Unloading area, gonna be cool.

Updated Feb 7th 2012, It's about time, trains have finally returned to the layout, My very undetailed Clyde the Climax and a couple of cars just to run and check for any issues. We will keep the nicer brass off the layout for now.

Updated Feb 4th 2012, worked Saturday am on front edge of log loading spar tree area, foreground trees and such, was able to knock out a couple square ft in just 3 hours or so. Stan started to the arduous task of cleaning track on the nearly complete 2/3rd's of layout so we can get trains running again. Jim and Tom are still knocking out trees and a frenetic pace, we have @ 18ft to finish, end of March/April looks good for scenery to be 100%, we can focus on completing small scenes after that.

Updated Feb 2nd 2012, Stan brought in a cozy Generator building, see the structure pg, once the interior is lit and the Cat and Dynamo are properly illuminated, should be a great scene. I also worked my way around the corner working on filling in the background where our spar tree and log unloading area will be in the foreground.

Updated Jan 31st 2012, Finally finished scenery on top of tunnel, looks much better and will serve as a view block between sections.

Updated Jan 28th 2012, went in to work on some deadfall and ended up installing Campfire & Hobo's instead. Brian our zen master of LED's and lighting effects completed the circuits and LED's for Campfire, just has to get them in place, at some point I will do a litle video, looks cool in person with flickering flame, adds some life to layout. Thats Jim on the left and Tom on the right

Updated Jan 26th,worked a bit on what we call the Kibbie Dome, Our only mountain on the layout, behind the Wharf Section that looks like the ugliest Sports Stadium in Idaho, U of I's Kibbie Dome, completely redid this area, with larger trees a view block beweeen sections, still needs deadfall, smaller trees and scrub, will finish on Saturday.
